Scheduled Training Runs - Contact the Leader as locations and times may vary. We have a wide variety of runners in our club. Why run alone? Join one of our group runs!

  • Pre-SARC Meeting Group Run” – Second Tuesday of the Month. Show up at 5:30 pm at the main parking lot at Sand Run Park when the meeting is held at Shady Hollow or Mingo Pavilion. Distance and pace varies depending on who shows up; fall in with other SARC members and set your own pace and distance. Just remember, if you run too long, you’ll miss the food!
  • SARC Sunday Morning Runners” - 8 am - Sand Run Park - Group runs between an 8-9 min mile pace. Contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it  for more information.
  • SARC Tuesday Night Track Workouts” – 5:30 pm at Stow-Munroe Falls High School - Stow, OH. John Roseman, of Progressive Fitness & Athletics, is a USA Track & Field Certified Coach and a NSCA Certified Personal Trainer. He can set up a workout pace and time you for $5.00 per session. If you have your own workout and do not want timing services, there is no charge to join SARC members on the track.
  • Towpath Turtles” 3-4 group runs every week for new and/or slower runners. Saturday long run routes accomodate multiple distance options and paces (9:30-12:30 min miles). View the "SARC Towpath Turtles" page on Facebook for weekly updates and run times/locations.
  • The Church of Our Savior on Crosby Street in Akron. The Episcopal Walking/Running Club gathers twice a week.  Monday mornings at 6:30 am meet John Bryson at church for a run to kick off the work week.  Celebrate the half-way point on Wednesday nights at 5:30 pm with Joy Caires for a mid-week run or walk.  Several paces will be set according to who attends.  Contact Joy Caires at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or (330) 690-8372 with questions.
  • Trinity Trotters" Saturdays at 6:30 am in Uniontown. We are the perfect group for non-runners wanting to train for a 5K, 10K, half-marathon or full marathon.  We start all new runners off with a run/walk program.  We also have long distance runs scheduled every week for more experienced runners.  There is a pace for everyone!!!  Please contact Hope Magnus at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or (330)819-6846 for details.  Also visit trinitytrotters.blogspot.com for the weekly running route and meeting location.
  • "Trail Runs" The runs will be held every Wednesday at 6:30pm.  The distance will be between three and six miles.  This is noncompetitive.  We are out there having fun!  Yeah I wish I could start earlier but the work thing gets in the way.  As far as the weather goes use your best judgement.  In other words if we are having a thunderstorm and/or heavy down pour then we will not run.     • August's Run - meets at the Sand Run Trail
  • Vertical Runner training runs. store website for run time and locations. 

  • Fleet Feet--Northfield training runs – ALL levels, averaging 3-6 miles. Wednesdays, starting at the store at 6 pm.

  • Fleet Feet--Northfield Sunday Morning Trail runs for all levels; mileage varies. Starting at the store at 8 am.
  • Ellet Trail Runners - Goodyear Park. Wednesday morning group runs of approximately 4 miles of trails. Start time 7:30a.m. Pace 10min / mile. Visit www.ellettrailrunners.com for more info.
